Log in with Google account
First we have to log in with our Google account then we have to chose a Title of our blog and then we have to chose a blog address for our blog which will be our blog web address ending with .blogspot.com. For example here like basic-studies.blogspot.com.
Choose your blog address
Most of the time all of us could not find a address as our choice, because that address may not be available as it may be already registered by any other user. Then a message shows Sorry, this blog address is not available. Then we have to modify our given address and check the availability.
We must chose a unique and uncommon name in order to find it available in blogger as it has a huge number of users across the world.
Why the error messages shows
Sometimes it shows the blog address is invalid or not supported. In this case we must assume this is due to any technical error because it is showing invalid & not supported.
In this case first we have to check the address if we have entered any . or / or , in this because if we use these symbols in any address it will not be supported as these are generally used as separator in web address & file naming system, so error message may be shown.
Then we have to check if we have used any special character like @ # $ % etc In the address as using these special characters may cause error. We can use – and _ in our address as it is accepted in all web addresses.
Check web browser login
After this if that invalid & not supported message is showing again then check which web browser you are using. It is better to use Google chrome.
Then try to start the account opening process again in Google chrome web browser. If that message shows again then check if you are logged in to the browser or not. When you log in for any services of Google like Gmail or any other then it will log in you to the Chrome browser also but if there are multiple users are logged in then the browser may not be logged in with your id or may be logged out.
In this case first log out of all accounts, close all the windows of Chrome and open a fresh window. Then log in to Google chrome. You can log in to your Gmail to log in to chrome browser also. Then start the account opening process. This time that error message “the blog address is invalid or not supported” will not show.
Conclusion
If you check properly all the steps described above then no error message will show again. After this if that message is showing again then just download the Blogger app from play store in your android mobile and complete the account opening process in just five minutes and then login with that account in your PC to complete other required tasks like page designing, layout, theme etc.
